The Golden of Renaissance Tarot is based on the 15th century French deck, the Charles VI (aka Estensi) of which only 17 cards remain. The complete set of 78 cards is created in eye-catching watercolors and finished with a gold leaf background.
This deck was made in Ferrara for the Estes family. The Minor Arcana, added by Dworkin, were inspired by frescoes in Palazzo Schifanoia, owned by the Estes family.
